Sep. 26-28

Green Mountain Camping Trip

Camp at Grout Pond in the National Forest of Vermont.  Ride the Gondola at the Mt. Stratton and hike to the fire tower on the peak to catch a four-state view!  Slide, jump and swim at Pike Falls.

Oct. 5

Mountain Bike Day Trip

Beginner trip with instruction at Mercer County Park, where they have a labyrinth of trails.

Oct. 18-19

Superheroes Adventure

Camp and compete as patrols at the Teetertown Ravine.  Become a super patrol and save humanity!  A challenging event with a lot of fun in store.

Nov. 22-3

Fort Mifflin Encampment

Spend the day visiting the sites in Philadelphia, and the night in the “Dungeons” with a ghost tour in this Revolutionary Fort on the Delaware Bay.

First Aid Rally

Test your patrol’s teamwork and skill as you compete in this year’s district triage.

Dec. 20

Garden State Rocks

Climb at this new and innovative tock gym in Morganville, N.J.

Jack Frost Ski Trip

Return to the troop’s favorite resort.  Ski or board with lessons available in the Pocono Mountains. Families are welcome!

Winter Snow Trip

Cabin camp at Turrell Scout Camp in New York and snow tube at Holiday Mountain.

Feb. 13

New Jersey Devils

Our Devils will cream the Boston Bruins!  Take a train to see high-energy NHL action.

Feb. 21

Klondike Trail

Teamwork, skills, and your sled will get you through this annual patrol winter challenge where you compete against 30 other patrols from troops across our district.

Mar. 8    (Rain Date Mar. 15)

Blue Mountain Ski Trip

Another troop favorite:  ski or board in another great Pennsylvania resort.  Lessons available; troop families always welcome.

Mar. 27-29

Tohickon Creek Trip

Two nights camping in this great Pennsylvania Park with a great five-mile hike into Tohickon Creek Canyon and the High Rocks area.

April 24-26

Cooperstown Trip

Camp two nights in lean-tos.  Visit the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Mine for Herkimer Diamonds and take a boat through the Howe Caverns.

May 16-17

Mullica River Canoe Trip

Paddle through this pristine Pine Barrens wilderness.  Camp and swim along the way – a real adventure!

15.

June 26-28

Catskill Bike Trip

Ride the rail-to-trail for 26 iles through beautiful country with a swim along the way.  Camp at Little Pond with swimming on Sunday.

July 19

North Star Adventure

Climb a rock wall and do a high rappel course for fun.

Patrol Trips

Plan a special trip for your patrol.  The possibilities are endless!

Aug. 3-9

Camp Bell

Summer camp in the beautiful Lake Country of New Hampshire.  Choose days at the waterfront, Challenge Valley, Foxfire, Mountain Man, or Logging Camp.

Sep. 25-27

Sleepy Hollow Trip

Camp in lean-tos in the Catskills with some shooting ????,  take a hike on the escarpment trail and swim at Katterskill Falls.

Mountain Bike Day Trip

Learn to bike on a local challenging trail

Oct. 24-5

Annual “Adventure” Campout

Our Scouts will decide on what great tour de force we will do in this annual event.

Nov. 14-15

Annapolis trip

Camp on Wye Island on Chesapeake Bay.  See the Navy Midshipmen in action in a football game and tour the Naval Academy.

Dec. 12

Curling

Learn how to play this Olympic sport and popular winter pastime at the Curling Club of Plainfield.

Lye Wilderness Trek

Backpack Southern Vermont’s highest; Mt. Stratton, with a 4 state view. Camp and swim at Bourn Pond. Visit the Lye Wilderness Meadow that abound with beaver activity and moose.

MTEC Team Challenge

Compete as a team in a grueling all day team competition with a 6 mile run/hike, 15 mile Mtn biking and 1 mile paddle.

Nov 9

Hartshorne Woods Mountain Biking Trip

Bike the Atlantic Highlands on some of the most exciting and challenging single-track cross country trails in New Jersey.

Catskills Snow Trek

Snowshoe deep into the Catskills Wilderness and spend the night in a snow shelter you built.

Feb 6-8

Vermont Ski Weekend

Spend two nights in a private lodge. Ski or board for the two days at Killington – one of New England’s premier destinations!

March 27-29

High Rocks Rock Climb

On our Troop’s Tohickon Creek trip in Pennsylvania spend a few rewarding hours on Sunday climbing in Ralph Stover State Park.

Philmont Crew Day Hike

Sourlands Mtn Reserve

A Philmont Crew training run with full backpack and 8 miles of challenging hills and boulders in the Sourlands Mountain Park..

April 19

Philmont Crew Day Hike

Round Valley State Park

A second Philmont Crew training run with full backpack and 10 miles of cross country and step climbs at the Round Valley State Park.

May 1-3

Watchu Weekend

Philmont Crew will participate in the council’s shakedown at Allamuchy Scout Reservation.

Jun 28 –

July 12

Philmont

Take a plane out to Colorado and visit the sites to get acclimated to the elevation before starting the 11 day trek through the Scout Ranch that is in the Southern Rockies in New Mexico. 90 miles of unbelievable scenery and high adventure activities at each day’s destination!

July 23 – 31

Florida National Seabase

Your Sea Exploration will include sailing on a tall ship for a week to Key West and back. Learn to man the ship in all sailing aspects; Navigating, steering and setting the sails. There will be plenty of time to swim and snorkel from the ship.

Aug. 2-8

Valley Voyageur

Trek through the back country of the ‘Valley’ in New Hampshire.  Climb mountains and sleep under the stars. Rock climb and spend the last day exploring the lake country in kayaks

Aug 18

Wakeboarding

What can be more wild and thrilling then being towed behind a speed boat?  Start with a lesson at NJ’s premier Lines End School in Rumson and then plenty of time to practice your new found skill!

Sep 25 - 27

Escarpment Trail Trek

Backpack the awesome Catskill trail with sheer cliffs overlooking the Hudson Valley in New York. Boulder and go for a swim at Katterskill Falls!

Oct 11

Mountain Bike Trip

Spend the day at an advanced trail refining your skills with heart pounding challenges

Nov 7

Shotgun

Spend the day shooting clay pigeons at a local gun club
