2007	Date(s)	Activity	Description
1.	Sept. 28-30	Block Island Bike Trip	This has been our Troop’s favorite trip!  Ferry to this Rhode Island Wonder.  Bike and explore the cliffs, swim at a pristine beach and camp in the remote Sandsland.
2.	Oct. 20-21	Indiana Jones Adventure	Camp and compete as patrols at Teetertown Ravine.  Find the Golden Fleece.  Patrols will have a great time on the Adventure Trail.
3.	Nov. 4	Six Mile Run Mountain Bike Day Trip	Learn how to Mountain Bike on this beginner trail in Griggstown.
4.	Nov. 17-18	Washington D.C. Trip	Camp in a church and bike tour the Capital Monuments and visit the Smithsonian Museums.
5.	Dec.8	First Aid Rally	Test your patrol’s teamwork and skill as you compete in this year’s district triage.
6.	Dec. 16	Rockville Climbing Center	Climb, belay and boulder at our Troop’s favorite Rock Hound haven.
2008
7.	Jan. 6 (Rain Date – Jan. 13)	Jack Frost Ski Trip	Return to the troop’s favorite resort.  Ski or board with lessons available in the Pocono Mountains.
8.	Jan. 11	Nets vs. Celtics NBA Basketball	See these conference rivals duke it out for first place!
9.	Jan. 26-7	Winter Cabin Trip	Stay in Stokes State Forest at Kittantinny Mountain Scout Reservation, cook outside and sled down our favorite hill.
10.	Feb. 23	Klondike Trail	Compete in our District Derby pulling your sled in competition against 50 patrols and winter.
11.	Mar. 2 (Rain Date Mar. 9)	Blue Mountain Ski Trip	Ski or board in another great Pennsylvania resort.  Lessons available; troop families always welcome.
12.	Mar. 28-30	Pine Barrens Campout	Camp at Belleplain State Forest, visit Lucy the Elephant and other Weird New Jersey Sites (like Savage Road!) and search and discover Captain Kidd’s Treasure.
13.	April 26-27	Lehigh Gorge Raft Trip	Camp at Hickory Run State Park in the Poconos. On Saturday after advancement work, explore the ‘Run’ and the boulder field.  Sunday:  Class IV Rapids on the Lehigh!
14.	May 3	Mid-Atlantic Scout Orienteering Championship	Compete as patrols in this annual challenge where skill and speed will bring you home.  Held at French Creek State Park in Pennsylvania.
15.	May 16-18	Sleeping Giant Campout and Hike	Trek into a wilderness campsite.  Hike the Giant Knee, Chin, and Forehead to a Castle Tower with panoramic views.  Visit the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk on Sunday.
18.	June 28-29	Paulenskill Valley Bike Trip	Trek up to 25 miles on this great Rails-to-Trails route in Northern New Jersey.  Countryside and arboreal forests abound as well as mils along the pristine river.  Stop for a swim along the way.  Camp at the Swartzwoods – Duck Pond.
19.	July 27	Delaware River Tubing	A storm forced us to cancel last summer.  But this year we’ll go on a lazy float (with some rapids) and have a great, fun day!
20.	July-August	Patrol Trips	Plan a special trip for your patrol.  The possibilities are endless!
21.	Aug. 3-9	Hidden Valley Summer Camp	Return to Lake Country of New Hampshire.  Advancement in the morning and lots of fun in the afternoon.  Outpost Mount Shannon and sleep under the stars.
22.	Sep. 26-28	Green Mountain Camping Trip	Camp in Lean-tos in the National Forest of Vermont.  Take the Gondola at Stratton Mountain and Hike to the Summit.  Swim, jump and slide at Pike’s Falls.
23.	Oct. 18-19	Annual “Adventure” Campout	Our Scouts will decide on what great tour de force we will do in this annual event.
24.	Nov. 9	Mountain Bike Day Trip	Take a clinic or improve your skills at Washington Valley Park.
25.	Nov. 22-3	Fort Mifflin Encampment	After visiting the sites of Philadelphia, tour, drill, cook, play games at, and explore this Revolutionary War fort.  When it gets dark we will take a ghost tour and stay in the dungeon!
26.	Dec. 13	First Aid Rally	Test your patrol’s teamwork and skills as you compete in this annual district triage.
27.	Dec. 20	Garden State Rocks	Climb at this new and very innovative Rock Gym in Morganville.

2007
Sep 28-30	Block Island Bike Trek	While on our Troop’s trip to this Rhode Island wonder, the  Crew will bike alone with mountain biking at Rodman’s Hollow!
Oct. 6	C.O.P.E.	Take this Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience at Allamuchy Camp. Use teamwork/ initiative, climb, swing, jump, rappel the low/high course’s including the rappel tower and the zip line!
Nov. 4	Mountain Bike	Advance your off road - single track skills on the Lewis Morris Trail!
2008
Jan. 26 - 27	Catskill Snow Trek	Snowshoe. Backpack into the winter wilderness deep into the Catskills. Build snow shelters and survive the elements!
Feb. 8 – 10	Vermont Ski Weekend	Spend two nights in a private mountain lodge. Ski or board for the two days at Killington - one of New England’s premier destinations!
Jan. 20.Feb. 3/7 April 6/13	Scuba BSA	One of these dates will be chosen to take a day certification course. Learn safety, with plenty of diving time included.
May 16-18	Sages Ravine Backpack	Trek the AT in Connecticut, Climb the Lions Head and Bear Mountain a 360 degree view. Camp at the Ravine with multiple swimming holes.
July 12-19	Laurel Highlands	Take part in this week long crew’s own adventure week in western Pennsylvania. Backpack past outstanding vistas and swim in many mountain creeks on the Highland’s Trail. Peddle/paddle the Middle Yough. Rock climb the Ohiopyle Gorge. Wild cave at the East Coast’s best; Laurel Caverns. Class 4 raft the Lower Yough. Don’t miss this exciting extreme experience!
Aug. 3-9	Valley Voyageur	Trek through the back country of the ‘Valley’ in New Hampshire. Climb mountains and sleep under the stars. Rock climb and spend the last day exploring the lake country in kayaks.
Aug. 16-23	Kathadin  Adventure	Designed just for our senior scouts, due to its high degree of extreme challenge. Take a float plan into the 100 mile wilderness of Maine. Trek past lakes and creeks and views to die for. Climb the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail; Mt. Kathadin. Risk the Knife Edge and Pamola on a trip you will never forget!
Sep. 26-28	Lye Wilderness Trek	Backpack Southern Vermont’s highest; Mt. Stratton, with a 5 state view. Camp and swim at Bourn Pond. Visit the Lye Wilderness Meadow’s that abound with beaver activity and moose!
Nov. 9	Mountain Biking Day Trek	Ply your skills at another great dirt track in New Jersey
2009
June or July	Philmont Trek	Sign ups are soon for this two-week adventure trek in the Southern Rockies in New Mexico. Scouting at its Best!
